I'm an independent researcher in Digital Humanities. I am a Montessori kindergarden teacher in an international school. I am a freelance web strategist who cares about ethics.
I am part of Game Happens, the international festival in Italy focusing on the artistic, educational, cultural and creative sides of games.
My interest lies mostly in philosophy of science, epistemology and philology. Cultural, social and educative considerations are important for me and I tend to focus on those aspects in my works and projects.
I am also curious about serious game and gamification mechanics. I like the complexity of the reality-virtuality continuum and particularly the behaviour and identity issues raised by the use of personas and avatars.
I've been working for 2 years on a thesis : Hebdomades - The Quest of the Seven Books. A reflection on the use of Renaissance Studies and game mechanics to develop data analysis and critical thinking skills.
